I don’t have any quirky, round-about story, or a snaky illustration, or a rant about small irritations (like when someone stops while getting on the freeway here in SW Missouri).  I simply have a questions that you can respond to, if you feel you want to add to the mish-mash.

If the whole idea behind a person repenting is that they make a u turn away form the way they tried living and towards life lived by God’s design, why don’t we…

1.  Teach it that way?

2.  Expect each other to live that way?

3.  Celebrate it for the miracle it truly is?

So, go ahead and examine yourself, your life.  Recall the moment you repented.  Dig into your lifestyle and see if you are living in repentance.  If you’re like me you will find that you fail sometimes (or often).  Try to follow this great advice I got from 16 year old kid years ago, “Always remember never to forget,” He loves you and wants to forgive you again and again, but you only need repent once.
