how much has been written on the topic of grace? Yet, how poorly we, as Christ Followers, actually understand it.  Oh, don’t misunderstand (again), we have read, listened and discussed the endless facets of grace.  It’s theological origins and doctrinal implications have been dissected like a 10th grade biology frog. It is my assertion that we don’t understand it well as evidenced by how poorly we practice it.

If we are to be taken seriously as people of grace than we must simply do it.  Now, I am not here going to go down the path of accountability or responsibility to maintain holy standards.  That’s a different blog.. this is simply about me and you loving those who (and I am stealing here) need a second chance.

If grace can be defined as being given something you don’t deserve, when was the last time you loved someone, cared for someone, accepted someone, deflected judgement on someone, FORGAVE someone who in no way deserves it? Seriously, answer this question.  It is what I will be thinking on for this thanksgiving time because what could be more grace full than thanking Him?
