nitty gritty

Some days are diamonds.  You know like winning a sweet door prize at a BINGO night!  Or finding out that Uncle Sam s giving you back a bunch of taxes (rare)… or, you get to go to a country far away from home and you are greeted by people you know and love. We spent the whole day with our friends from La Limonada (Tita, Monik, Gracie, Nathan, Kate, Ina, and a whole bunch of others)!  

Not just people we have worked with… friends that we have cried with and laughed with.  Not only that, we had all of this sweet fellowship in a beautiful location… Antigua!  Yea, it sounds like a vacation more than a mission trip, but the relationships we have are because of the mission of sharing Jesus with others.  Like I said, some days are diamonds.  Tomorrow, Church in the dump, Lunch with sweet Pastors and then off to Mamma Carmen’s Orphanage!
